BlogBurst Editorial Team
Rachel Brush, Managing Editor
Hi, I'm Rachel Brush. I lead all aspects of content for the BlogBurst syndication network, including scaling the editorial function to meet the growing demand for BlogBurst content. Prior to joining Pluck, I spent eight years at Hoover's, Inc.: first as Vice President of Content and Managing Editor, leading the editorial staff and its priority database of 43,000 companies; and most recently as Vice President of Customer Operations and Quality, overseeing data and customer service quality, as well as developing tools and processes for the Customer Experience department. I have a BA in English from The University of Texas at Austin and completed graduate business studies at St. Edward's University. I'm also an Advisory Board Member of The Periwinkle Foundation, which provides summer camps and other activities for children with cancer.

Hi, my name is J. Dock Myrick II. I help BlogBurst users with technical issues related to their RSS feeds, and stay abreast of emerging technical issues. Originally from North Carolina, I have a degree in Art and Design with concentrations in multimedia technologies and cognition in design. I helped run the independent student magazine "Polemics," worked at a digital pre-press shop preparing photographs for small newspapers and print publications, have administered specialty web communities, and worked in public relations for the National Auto Sport Association. I have experience working at Apple Computer, SigmaTel, Motive, and the Intellimedia Initiative.
Tina Nelson, Senior Editor
Hey, I’m Tina Nelson. At Blogburst, I help select blogs for inclusion into BurstWires and for special offerings to publishers. My first job was as a disc jockey at the age of 16. This was fun and ego-enhancing, and I was able to get a college degree in Journalism supporting myself by spinning records on the side. I worked as a reporter and anchor in Florida and Colorado before focusing on political reporting, which brought me to Austin, TX. Eighteen years later I’m still here, although no longer covering the state legislature. When the Internet took off, I went with it and have launched web sites for Cox, Time Warner, National Instruments, Dell Computers and tons and tons of start-ups. I have two weenie dogs and a crush on Peyton Manning.
Eric Roach, Market Development
Hello, my name is Eric Roach, and I am a native Texan. I am in charge of market development for BlogBurst. I have been involved in internet content operations since 2000, most notably at Powered, Inc. I have also had careers in sales, marketing, management, operations, entrepreneurial endeavors, and brewing beer at some of the smallest and largest companies in the world. In my spare time, I play guitar in three bands and I occasionally blog (about beer) at thecauseofandthesolutionto.com.
Daysha Taylor, Associate Editor
I’m Daysha Taylor. I select blogs for inclusion into the BlogBurst network and help create special offerings that promote BlogBurst blogs to publishers. I'm an electronic music geek, Internet enthusiast, former business journalist at Hoovers.com, original blogger for Bizmology.com, and owner of Earthbird Music. I enjoy cultivating new ideas and challenging the status quo, but only when needed to evolve the future of online content and collaborative work environments. I'm always building something, either online or in reality, and think of the internet as my personal playground for testing new methods for content delivery and site design. I was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and moved to Texas in the year 2000. When I am not in the office, I also manage seven bands, operate Web 2.0 properties for an audio engineering school, produce two podcasts, and operate a small home-based project studio. I have a Newfoundland lab named Madison and collect hourglasses, contemporary art, and unusual clocks.
Beth Yehaskel, Editorial Services
I’m Beth Yehaskel, and I work as the Senior Manager for Editorial Services for BlogBurst clients. What this means is that I help publishers locate the content that works best with their site and their existing content, and help them set up BlogBurst on their pages. I came to Pluck with an extensive background in content and client management, project management and communications. Most recently, I worked managing educational marketing content for Powered, Inc. where worked I closely with the company's largest account. Prior to joining the high-tech world, I had a career in dirt — that is, digging in it, as a field archaeologist. From there I shifted gears to a small village on the Haitian border of the Dominican Republic, where I served as a Peace Corps volunteer for two years. When I'm not in the office, I can typically be found on the floor with Elmo, crayons, and my 2-year old son.
Tim Ziegler, Editorial Services
Greetings. I'm Tim Ziegler and I work closely with BlogBurst publishers to help them get the best mileage out of their blog widgets, from helping pick content to diving into what the metrics tell us. I've been working with Web content since 1995, when I jumped from a journalism job to review more than 10,000 Web sites for the then-new (and now defunct) search engine Excite. These past, oh, 13 years I've worked at startups big and small, served as the editor of Wired's Webmonkey, and held many jobs in content creation and strategy including a stint as Senior Content Strategist for Avenue A | Razorfish working on the AT&T Web site. I also serve on the SXSW Interactive advisory board. This being Austin, I play guitar and am in the middle of recording a concept album. Outside of work, I spend my time with my wife and young son hiking, biking, and swimming in the Texas Hill Country.
